How to make a Pink Glow Icon
to: 
1. Pick an image. I'll be using a Hanna Beth pic from here. Crop the picture. (Either 96x96 for MSN, or 100x100 for LiveJournal)
2. Duplicate the layer and set it to Screen 62.8
Merge it Down by going to Layer --> Merge Down
3. Add a new layer. Fill the layer with the color 090A0A. Set it to Overlay 88.4
Merge it Down by going to Layer --> Merge Down
4. Paste this as a new layer and set it to Screen 100.0
Merge it Down by going to Layer --> Merge Down
